Moniba Odunlami
is an Architect with a deep extended passion for excellence and a desire to create new innovations in design and define project administration in all areas she is involved in.
She is intelligent, efficient and versatile with administrative skills and has a distinct knowledge of Architecture and Project Management. She is a Chartered Architect and she is also a certified Project Manager. She is an astonishing woman, full of energy, works hard and committed at all times.
A graduate of Architecture from the prestigious University of Lagos, Moniba is a well-seasoned Architect with over 18 years of practical and professional experience. A tenacious lady, who is not afraid of challenges and making positive impact in all she is involved in.
She has worked with various international and indigenous firms. She is currently the Managing Partner of her company Design Feats, a design and build practice which has been in operations from 2019 till date. She also founded an initiative called Project Bethesda, a safe space to provide emotional support and encouragement for people through life’s many challenges.
She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (FNIA) and a Member of the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON)for the same period.
She has served the Nigerian Institute of Architects Lagos State Chapter in various capacities and in Committees over the years. She has served as the Assistant General Secretary then served as the General Secretary. She is currently the Vice Chair. Her creativity and organizational skills have enhanced productivity and contributed to the success of the team.
She is deeply committed to progress and excellence with discipline and strong work ethics which have shaped her vision and core values. She is very dedicated to her family and has two children.
Arc. Adaku Osuagwu-Oguamanam
General Secretary
Arc. Adaku Osuagwu-Oguamanam, known for being able, dependable, and affable, currently serves as the General Secretary of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Lagos Chapter. She is dedicated to fostering unity among members, strengthening the Chapter, and advancing the architectural profession within Lagos State and beyond.
Adaku works collaboratively with other executives to harness the immense potential of the Chapter’s members, striving to build a stronger, more dynamic, and influential Institute. Her dedication to excellence and approachable leadership style continue to enhance the Chapter’s cohesion and impact.
Arc. Taiwo Aiyepe
Treasurer
Arc. Taiwo Aiyepe (MNIA) is the Treasurer of the NIA Lagos State Chapter, known for his expertise in project management, budgeting, and financial strategy. A passionate advocate for transparency and sustainability, he works tirelessly to optimize resource allocation and maintain open communication within the Chapter.
During his tenure, Arc. Aiyepe plan to introduce innovative financial systems, developed long-term plans, and ensured accountability in the Chapter’s finances. His commitment to excellence and forward-thinking leadership are integral to the Chapter’s ongoing financial success.
Arc. Dejoke Amusat
Public Relations Officer
Arc. Dejoke Amusat is the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Institute of Architects, Lagos State Chapter (NIALSC). She is dedicated to implementing innovative and transparent communication strategies that elevate the Chapter’s public image and engagement. By leveraging global digital platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, alongside partnerships with prominent print and electronic media outlets, she amplifies the Chapter’s achievements while effectively addressing challenges.
Her mission is to foster openness, accountability, and trust, ensuring the NIALSC remains relevant and respected. Through educating, engaging, and enlightening stakeholders, Arc. Amusat continues to inspire enthusiasm and confidence in the Chapter’s work.
Arc. Damilola Popoola
Social Welfare Officer
Arc. Popoola Damilola (MNIA) is the Social Welfare Officer of the NIA Lagos Chapter, renowned for her dedication to fostering community and inclusivity within the architectural profession. She has previously served as Assistant General Secretary (2022–2024) and Social Welfare Officer of the NIA Ikeja Branch, roles in which she championed initiatives to empower architects across all generations.
One of her tenure goals is to have successful mentorship programs, wellness workshops, and community engagement projects that strengthen the bonds within the architectural community. With her inclusive and innovative approach, Damilola continues to build a resilient and vibrant network of architects in Lagos State.

Arc. Ayomide Faji, MNIA, AIA Intl. Assoc.
ASST. GENERAL SECRETARY II
Ayomide Faji is a dedicated architect with a strong foundation in design conceptualization, interior architecture, project management, and supervision. He currently serves as a Project Architect at FMA Architects Ltd, where he plays a key role in delivering innovative and functional architectural solutions.
He holds both a Master of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architecture from Bells University, Ota. Passionate about professional development and mentorship, Ayomide is an inaugural member and Director of the Bells University Architecture Alumni Association, actively contributing to the growth of the architecture community.
As a registered architect with ARCON, a full member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), and an International Associate of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), he remains committed to advancing architectural excellence and fostering collaboration within the industry.
Ebenezer Odeyale, ANIA
ASST. PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER
Ebenezer Odeyale is a great lover of Architecture and Construction. He holds a Higher National Diploma from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, then proceeded to Caleb University where he bagged Bachelors of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Architecture. He is an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and provisionally registered with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
In the Nigerian Institute of Architect, Lagos State Chapter, Ebenezer has served on several Committees being passionate to contribute his humble efforts to the development of the institute. He previously served as an Assistant General Secretary 2, and on the Publicity Committee and Lagos Architects Forum (LAF) Committee, to mention a few.
Currently, Ebenezer works with Lagos State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure and holds the position of an Assistant Director. His work with Lagos State Government has given him tremendous exposure to several Architectural Projects.
He is currently the Assistant Public Relations Officer of the Chapter, with the desire to use this office to work with other members of the Executive to take
the Chapter to another greater height.
ARC. SUNDAY ABIODUN KUTI

Sunday Abiodun Kuti is a chartered and registered Management and is a Principal Consultant at Symbolik Designs and Construction Limited. He also holds a Masters degree (MSC) in Housing Development and Management and is involved in social housing and sustainable environmental issues.
Edafe Ihwiwhu is a licensed Architect and a green building/ sustainability expert (IFC-EDGE & German sustainable building council consultant-DGNB). He is a member of the NIA, World safety organization and project management institute USA. He has a very strong work ethics with experience in Residential, commercial, Office, Hotels, master planning, data centers, factories, mixed-use, religious building designs and construction.
He also has a strong passion for research, development and continuous learning and has been able to publish some articles that give some direction on sustainability. He is currently serving in the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) Technical committee on sustainability in buildings/civil engineering works & cities and the Green Building council of Nigeria’s technical committee responsible for preparation of green building rating tool for Nigeria. He believes that simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication
Arc. Ojo Oluwatimilehin J. MNIA
ASST. GENERAL SECRETARY I
Arc. Ojo Oluwatimilehin is a licensed architect with over a decade of experience in architectural design, BIM integration, and project supervision, contributing to projects both internationally and locally. He currently serves as the Assistant General Secretary of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Lagos State Chapter.His interests span affordable housing, adaptive reuse, placemaking, and sustainable architecture, with a growing focus on technology-driven collaboration platforms that enhance design and client engagement. He is deeply passionate about creating iconic, expressive, and nation-changing architectural forms that inspire identity, purpose, and progress across Africa.A dedicated learner and mentee within the NIA Young Architects Forum (YAF), he was part of the first cohort of the YAF Leadership Development Programme (LDP). His design philosophy blends artistic sensibility and technical precision, producing thoughtful, expressive, and functional architecture.He holds degrees in Architecture from Joseph Ayo Babalola University and the University of Lagos, and professional certifications from MIT Media Lab and Never Enough Architecture.
Dr. Arc. Yemi Oginnii MNIA
CHAIR, EDUCATION COMMITTEE
Dr Yemi Oginnii is an architect and research specialist with focus on Thermal Comfort and Building
Performance. She had an HND degree from Yaba College of Technology. She graduated from the University of Lagos in 2004 with a BSc in Architecture ; Masters in Environmental Design in 2009 and a Ph.D from the Department of Architecture from University of Lagos in 2018. She has practised over 15 years with Design Engines as a Consultant Architect. She has achieved both the NIA (Nigerian Instituite of Architects) and the ARCON (Architects Registration Council of Nigeria) membership and an IFRA (French Instituite for Research in Africa) research fellowship; about 20 number of publications and won and managed an AFRETEC and TETFUND grant for 2024 and 2017in the University of Lagos.
Arc. Bawala Adekunle Sulaiman MNIA

Arc Bawala Adekunle Sulaiman is a seasoned Architect with over 12 years of experience and presently working with the Lagos State Government. He obtained his Bsc from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye Ogun state and MSc from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Kaduna State. He is ARCON certified and also full member of the Nigeria institute of Architects. He is service oriented and a goal getter. He is married with 2 kids...He is a lover of football and Arsenal fan to be precise.
Arc. Oluwateleola Olarewaju MNIA

Arc. 'Teleola Olarewaju is an experienced Architect based in Lagos, Nigeria, with a strong background in Sustainable Design, Construction Drawings, and Building Design. She currently serves as the Students’ Affairs Chair for the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Lagos State Chapter, where she plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between students and professional architects, nurturing the next generation of design leaders.
As the Managing Director of Teledecco Nigeria Limited, she has been instrumental in conceptualizing and delivering innovative architectural solutions that combine functionality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility. Her professional expertise spans the full spectrum of architectural practice—from design development and documentation to ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards on-site.
Beyond her professional achievements, she is deeply passionate about mentorship, education, and community development. In her role as the Chairperson of the Board of Public Art Africa, she actively promotes creative expression and public art initiatives across the continent, using design as a tool for social impact and cultural connection.
Through her work, she continues to inspire excellence, advocate for sustainable design practices, and empower young professionals to redefine the future of architecture in Africa.
